Jay's sona, a blue raccoon named... Jay. Or Neon!
Jay | 25 | They/Them | Aromantic
NE0Nbandit is the online alias of Jay, a Non-Binary Digital Artist from Portugal. Although primarily focusing on Illustration and Character Design, they also have a passion for Storytelling, World Building and whichever other hobbies they happen to find exciting and interesting.
Drawing since they were very young, they hope to inspire others with their art and to share their characters and stories with the world.
When not drawing, they also enjoy brainstorming ideas for their original characters, going on strolls to indulge in alone time, playing casual video games, watching video essays on topics they enjoy and gushing about their favourite characters.
Watch out when bringing up topics related to their current hyperfixations!
They also think it's kind of weird when artists describe themselves in the third person, but they're not one to judge either.
Bold are interests whose fandoms I'm involved with, anything else is just casual enjoyment :)

"For how long have you been drawing?/Can you teach me how to draw?"
I have been drawing since 2007 (Age 9) and began to take it more seriously when I was 12, being mainly self-taught. I cannot teach anyone how to draw simply because what works for me might not work for someone else. I do have some loose ideas I try to stick to, which, as I mentioned, are what work for me personally.
Accept and embrace the fact that you'll dislike your art a lot of the time
Don't throw away your old drawings, they're a reminder of your progress
Your art style is something that evolves naturally with you, you don't have to force it. The more you draw, the more fleshed out it becomes
Don't forget to still draw things you enjoy. If you spend all your time doing nothing but just practice pictures and turning art into a chore, it might get harder to find enjoyment out of it :(
Remember that what might work for some people might not work for you. Specially reading this haha These are just things that have worked for me personally, wether you want to listen to me or not, is up to you :) Everyone's progress is different
It's okay to suck :)
"What program do you use for your art?"
Paint Tool SAI 2 is my main program for everything. Occasionally I use Clip Studio Paint to add some extra effects and adjustments, but most of my drawing process is done on SAI 2.
"What drawing tablet to do you use?"
I use a Huion GT-220 V2, I've had it since 2018 and it's worked very nicely so far :)
"Can I repost your art to my Instagram/Facebook Group/Fanpage?"
No. I used to allow this, but the reposts got so out of control that I no longer allow them. I do not respect the concept of fan pages who repost other artists' art and I don't wish to contribute to it.
"Even if I credit you???"
That's still a no, sorry.
"Can I use your art in my video/Twitch stream?"
Depends on the art, but if it's my League of Legends fan art then yes AS LONG AS YOU CREDIT ME IN THE DESCRIPTION, with a link to either my Twitter or my DeviantArt.
"Can I add you on Discord?"
I'm not exactly good at small talk, so unless we're friends/mutuals, I'd rather not. My Twitter DMs are open tho! :)
"Can I use your art as my profile picture?"
Sure, as long as you don't claim it as your own and credit me :)
"Can I draw your characters?"
Y E S, if you do, I will love you forever.
"Are you a Furry? What's with the raccoon fursona?"
I get asked this a lot and I honestly never know the answer LOL
I think Furries are super cool people!! Though personally, I just like the designs of anthro animals and I love raccoons! :)
It's hard to call myself a Furry since I don't exactly associate with the culture and most of my characters are humanoid in some form but rarely fully anthro animals with the exception of my sona.
I guess I feel like some sort of impostor by using the term for myself?? I have fantasized about getting a fursuit head ngl
So my answer would be "*Gestures vaguely* ????? I guess??? What are the requirements?"
Edit - Nah, I'm done overthinking it. Yeah I'm a furry, they're one of the nicest and most creative communities I've met and there's no reason for me to feel ashamed of it only because some people will make less than pleasant assumptions about the community hahaha
"What are Drimares?"
Fun fact, the plural for Drimare is Drimare :)
They are my own original species, originally inspired on the Nightmaren from NiGHTS into Dreams franchise. They are Dream Elves that live in a world that exists within the dreams of humans.
"Can I make a Drimare OC?"
100% YES, I want to see them and I will infodump on you if you want any guidelines, but will not gatekeep them either! They're not exactly a fully closed species but I do want to eventually get some sort of franchise situation going, but in the context of Drimare Universe fan characters, I'm all up for it!
